Charon’s hand wields the serpent's scales of twins
Hailing me towards a cocoon of broken deadfall
To face a new trial

Maw withdraws in its psalm’s portals
Weaved within the waiting awe of the maelstrom

Seven heads of the serpent beckon for my soul
Leading me towards a doorway in the spiral
Far below

As its seven heads fanned above him

And the sirens tucked their subjects back into their wombs
All submitting to the house and its warden’s call

Drowning fear

Maw of visions opens wide
